The Brewers Arms

In March 2016, a local establishment underwent a significant transformation through a comprehensive refurbishment and rebranding process. The venue, which is prominently located on the main shopping street, now boasts an open-plan drinking area that is designed around a central staircase. This staircase leads to a spacious rooftop terrace, providing an ideal spot for patrons to relax and socialize. The establishment is also a popular destination for sports enthusiasts, as it broadcasts all TV sports events. Despite its many attractions, the venue experienced low sales of real ale, leading to its withdrawal in October 2017. At the time, there were three unused handpumps on the premises. By June 2019, these handpumps were removed. Despite these changes, the establishment continues to offer a welcoming and enjoyable environment for its patrons.
