The Boot Inn
In 2019, The Boot, a prominent Grade II listed, 16th-century building, was reopened under community ownership after a period of closure. This half-timbered architectural gem underwent a significant refurbishment, which was executed with great care to preserve its unique features. The refurbishment included the thoughtful opening up of the space, while also maintaining a separate dining room, a cozy snug, and the original inglenook fireplace. The Boot now offers high-quality, seasonal food, and it is recommended to make a reservation, especially on weekends. The venue also hosts live music events occasionally.
