The Wheatsheaf Hotel
Following a renovation by Holden's in August 2017, the pub has been transformed into an open-plan space with the bar now situated along the right-hand wall. The refurbishment has managed to maintain the original character of the pub, while giving it a fresh, light, and airy feel. The interior features wooden floors throughout, complemented by matching tables and a diverse assortment of mismatched chairs, adding a unique charm to the place. In a nod to local sports enthusiasts, the men's restroom has been adorned with tiles in the colors of the local football team. The pub also includes a small stage, which is utilized by performers, adding to the lively atmosphere of the establishment.
