Tap Steakhouse
Established in 1861, the pub has undergone numerous transformations over the years. Originally known as the Cottage by the Brook, it underwent a significant name change in 1994. The establishment has experienced several periods of closure and reopening, with a major refurbishment taking place in 2014. On November 2, 2018, the pub reopened as the Tap Steakhouse, operating as an independent business. As a pub and restaurant, it serves the entire community, offering a welcoming and inclusive environment for all patrons. In 2022, under new licensees, the establishment underwent another name change and is now known as the Tap Bar & Restaurant. Despite the changes in name and management, the establishment continues to uphold its long-standing tradition of serving the community.
