The pub also extends its hospitality on Bank Holidays, opening its doors from noon. In a nod to its longstanding informal name, the pub has updated its signage, transitioning from the original 'Lord Palmerston' to a more succinct version. However, it's worth noting that due to a decrease in demand, cask ale is no longer part of the beverage offerings at this establishment. Despite this change, the Lord Palmerston continues to be a cherished local spot, maintaining its charm and welcoming atmosphere.
