Kings Arms
The Arms, a charming pub, was initially a coaching house constructed in 1865. It has recently undergone a tasteful expansion and refurbishment, preserving its historical charm while adding modern comforts. Despite its modest size, the Arms maintains a warm and inviting atmosphere, thanks in part to the preservation of two original rooms, one of which features a cozy coal/log fire. The Arms is a welcoming establishment, where everyone, including their dogs, are invited to enjoy a relaxing time. It has a strong affinity for rugby and football, regularly broadcasting major events for sports enthusiasts. In addition to its sports offerings, the Arms serves three regular ales and holds the distinction of being one of only four free houses in the town. This combination of historical charm, friendly atmosphere, and quality offerings makes the Arms a unique and cherished establishment in the community.
