The Folly
The Bull and Butcher, a former farmhouse turned pub, has a rich history dating back to the 1940s. After a hiatus from 1940 to 1992, it reopened its doors and has since become renowned for its home-cooked meals. The establishment is particularly bustling during the summer months, while the winter season tends to be more tranquil. The Bull and Butcher is managed by a congenial landlord, distinguished by his impressive moustache. The staff also contribute to the welcoming atmosphere, and dog biscuits are readily available at the bar for our four-legged patrons. In addition to the main pub, the site now features the Potting Shed, a spacious barn-like venue where customers can enjoy a variety of beers and food. This new addition further enhances the Bull and Butcher's appeal, making it a must-visit destination for both locals and tourists alike.
