The Bell Inn
The Grade II, 17th century Cotswold country pub, which abruptly closed its doors in April 2016, was joyfully reopened in December 2017 under new and passionate ownership. Despite its geographical confusion, being situated in Oxfordshire but bearing a Gloucestershire postcode, the pub is a charming and historical establishment nestled in a village that is home to a Saxon church and significant Saxon remains. The pub features two rooms, one of which boasts the claim of having the smallest bar you're likely to encounter. While the pub humbly asserts that it serves 'good, simple, pub food', it has been the recipient of numerous awards, a testament to the quality and appeal of its offerings.
