The Fat Walrus
The pub, which was significantly renovated and modernized in January 2016, now boasts a single-room interior. Its current name, inspired by the famous walrus exhibit at the Horniman Museum, was adopted following the refurbishment. The pub's management is eager to establish a strong reputation among both students and local residents. The interior design features wall-mounted bench seating, high tables, and booth seating scattered throughout the space. Despite having three hand pumps, the pub stopped serving real ale in 2018.
