Combermere Arms
Constructed in 1860, the current design of the building primarily stems from modifications made in 1925. The main bar, located to the left of the central corridor, has unfortunately been subject to some less refined post-war adjustments. This central corridor also features a hatch service for added convenience. The most appealing rooms in the building are the two cozy snugs situated on the opposite side of the corridor. One of these snugs is designed in a lounge-style, complete with a simple fireplace and comfortable benches for relaxation. The other snug, while more modest in design, boasts a red-tiled floor and a brick fireplace, adding a touch of rustic charm to the space. An interesting feature of the property is a large tree that grows within the outdoor gentlemen's facilities. This unique aspect adds a touch of nature and whimsy to the otherwise traditional setting.
