Badgers Tavern
The Badgers, a historic establishment, was formerly recognized as The Railway Inn during the late 1800s. It served as a significant charabanc stop en route to the renowned Goodwood racecourse. Additionally, it provided services to the Petworth Railway Station, which unfortunately ceased operations in the 1960s. The former Railway Station has since been repurposed into a unique bed & breakfast accommodation, featuring vintage railway carriages for an authentic experience. The Badgers is a cozy pub that places a strong emphasis on providing quality meals to its patrons. During the winter months, guests can enjoy the warmth and ambiance of two real fires.
