The White Horse Inn
The local timber-framed establishment, adorned with a Lacons sign, has a rich history, with part of the building surviving the Great Fire of Badwell Ash in 1723. The bar area was reconstructed following the fire, and the entire pub has since undergone a top-tier restoration. Upon entering, guests are greeted by the stables restaurant to their right, which retains many of its original features and is tastefully decorated with equestrian equipment. To the left, a cozy bar area awaits, complete with high tables and a log burner for warmth. Further in, the lounge bar offers a comfortable seating area with tables and the added warmth of two log burners. This village pub seamlessly blends history and comfort, offering a unique and inviting atmosphere for all visitors.
