The Victoria
Previously known as Blatch's of Theale pub, The White House underwent a significant renovation in 2014. This refurbishment included the addition of a conservatory and the introduction of a food menu, with a particular highlight being the excellent Sunday roasts, for which booking is recommended. The pub also offers a selection of real ales. The interior is adorned with numerous depictions of historic Reading, adding to the establishment's charm. In recognition of its quality and appeal, The White House was awarded the Reading Chronicle's Pub of the Year Award in 2022. Conveniently, bus stops are located directly outside the pub and around the corner at the nearby road junction.
