The quaint village, which has recently been upgraded to a town status, is home to a charming pub that exudes a rustic appeal. The pub primarily focuses on providing a delightful culinary experience to its patrons. Unfortunately, the skittle alley, which was once a popular feature of the pub, has been transformed into a dining area. This change, however, has allowed for the introduction of a carvery, which is now served on Wednesdays and Sundays. Despite the loss of the skittle alley, the pub continues to maintain its traditional charm while offering an enhanced dining experience.
