Railway Tavern

The establishment at 17C, which was originally two cottages, has a rich history of ownership, including the Strongs, Whitbread, and Gibbs Mew. In the 1980s, Gibbs Mew utilized a horse dray for city deliveries, and the stables at the back of the pub served as a resting place for their two shire horses, Danny and Dylan. The pub boasts two spacious bars and a lounge that can be reserved for private events. Additionally, the public bar is equipped with a pool table and a darts oche for patrons' entertainment.
