The Hangry Moose, a beloved community pub located near Lye Cross, has undergone significant transformations over the years. The original layout featured a spacious bar area on the left and a cozy 'Tap Room' on the right. However, the exterior of the pub had to be partially reconstructed and redecorated following a car accident in 2008. In 2022, The Hangry Moose took the initiative to extensively refurbish the pub. The bar area now boasts a pool table and a dart board, providing patrons with a variety of entertainment options. The food served at the pub is also provided by The Hangry Moose, ensuring a consistent and high-quality dining experience. In addition to these improvements, the pub has introduced live music performances every Saturday. This addition has undoubtedly enhanced the overall atmosphere, making it an even more enjoyable place to spend time. Despite the changes, the pub has retained its original charm and continues to be a cherished gathering spot for the local community.
