The Manger
This charming bar, characterized by its robust wooden beams and traditional inglenook fireplace, is steeped in history. The structure itself hails from the late 15th century, and it has undergone modifications in the 16th and 17th centuries, adding to its rich historical tapestry. Interestingly, it holds the unique distinction of being the only Manger pub in the entire country. In recognition of its commitment to serving top-quality cask ale, it was awarded the prestigious Cask Marque status in June 2017.
