Knights Grange

The property, which was originally a farmhouse and is now a public house, dates back to the mid to late 17th century. It is constructed from red English garden wall bond and features a slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has an E-shaped layout. The entrance front is particularly notable, featuring a gabled two-storey porch that projects to the left of the centre. This porch includes a round archway and a plank door adorned with nail head decoration. Historically, the house and the nearby barn were part of the Vale Royal Abbey's estate. Today, the property is owned by the Vale Royal Council, who lease it out. This building is a testament to the architectural style of its time and continues to serve the community in its new role as a public house.
