The interior is rich with oak beams and comfortable settees, and a distinctive fireplace adds to the overall character. The pub is further enhanced by a collection of antiques scattered throughout, contributing to its one-of-a-kind appeal. Nestled in picturesque countryside along the banks of the River Trent, this location was once the site of the John Thompson brewery. Unfortunately, the brewery is no longer in operation. Despite this, the pub continues to stand as a testament to the Thompson's vision and dedication, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere steeped in history.
