Dovecote Inn
Located on the edge of a historical mining village, this independent pub has a rich history dating back to at least 1820. In 1927, an additional floor was added, giving the building its unique tall and slender look. The pub's name was inspired by a dovecote that once stood on the corner of the property. The interior of the pub features a spacious single room, which is home to a well-liked pool table and dartboard. The pub also hosts a popular quiz night every Tuesday. This establishment combines a rich history with a welcoming atmosphere, making it a unique and enjoyable place to visit.
