The Greyhound Inn
Welcome to our delightful rest stop along the Hadrians Wall walking route, which was once a grand manor house. In 1936, it was transformed by the State Management Scheme into a spacious, open-plan pub. The pub features a raised area dedicated to games, including a popular pool table. Music lovers will appreciate our well-liked jukebox. We proudly serve Timothy Taylor Landlord and a rotating selection of guest ales. Our food offerings change with the seasons, so we recommend checking the current menu before your visit. We also offer a convenient take-out service for those on the go. Our pub boasts a large outdoor area, situated next to the statue of Edward I, providing a perfect spot for relaxation and enjoyment of the surrounding scenery. Please note that our closing times may vary depending on customer traffic, and we may close early if there are no customers. We look forward to welcoming you to our unique and historic establishment.
