The Heathfield Tavern
During the 19th century, the Plymouth Brethren held significant influence in Heathfield, which has resulted in the Heathfield Tavern being the sole pub in the town. This was only allowed due to its location next to a police house. The establishment, which dates back to the early 19th century, features a primary bar area and two separate sections dedicated to dining. The tavern underwent a complete renovation and was reopened in February 2019 by Ridley Inns, a family-owned business.
