Corner House
Located on the historical site of the town's former East Gate, this well-liked and welcoming pub is distinguished by its 1930s wood-panelled interior. It is a fervent supporter of the local rugby club, and as such, it can become quite bustling during international matches. The pub also hosts the fiercely contested Barnstaple Open Shove ha'penny Championship. Additionally, the back bar serves as a meeting place for various local clubs and organizations.
