Bull's Head
We are delighted to announce the reopening of our historic inn, nestled in the foothills of the Black Mountains, after an extended period of closure. A comprehensive description of the inn will be provided upon completion of an ongoing survey. This remarkable and secluded inn is one of the few remaining unspoiled drovers' inns in England, offering an authentic and unique experience. The inn has a rich history, having been owned by the same farming family for 125 years until 1998. Upon arrival, guests are greeted by ancient stone steps that lead into a welcoming main bar area. The bar features two serving hatches and a beautifully preserved stone floor, adding to the inn's rustic charm. This inn is a testament to the past, providing a serene retreat away from the hustle and bustle of modern life. We look forward to welcoming you to experience the tranquility and history of this unique establishment.
