Browns
The establishment previously known as Athenaeum was acquired by the Browns' chain in 2011. The building, originally home to Parrs Bank, was designed by Charles Heathcote in 1902. It is a remarkable representation of Edwardian Baroque architecture, enhanced by the increasingly popular Art Nouveau details. The interior features a spacious room that accommodates the bar and comfortable seating areas. It's worth noting that the bar has had a fluctuating relationship with cask ale, which is currently not available.
