The Harrow Inn
The building, believed to have been constructed in the 12th century, first received its beer house license in 1852. It wasn't until 1951 that it was granted a full wine and spirits license, coinciding with the addition of a ladies' restroom. This establishment is known for being the closest thatched pub to central London, characterized by its low beams throughout the interior. The pub features a front patio and a spacious garden at the back, providing ample outdoor seating options. Food service is available from Tuesday to Sunday, offering a variety of dishes. The menu includes traditional pub favorites, Indian dishes, and a special Sunday roast. The pub also prides itself on its selection of ales. Two regular ales are always on offer, with a third variety occasionally making an appearance. This pub combines historical charm with modern amenities, making it a unique spot for both locals and visitors.
