The Gamekeeper
The 17th Century Grade II listed free house, which boasts a prime location overlooking the country's largest village green spanning 40 acres, has been reopened in November 2021. Now under the management of Woodforde's Brewery, this historic establishment offers a unique ambiance with its interior divided into four distinct sections, some of which feature quarry tiled floors. One of the highlights of the property is a large baronial-style hall function room situated on the left side of the building. This room serves as a carvery during Sunday lunchtimes, providing a unique dining experience for visitors.
