Dorchester Abbey, formally known as The Abbey Church of St Peter and St Paul, is a parish church under the Church of England. It is situated in Dorchester on Thames, Oxfordshire, approximately 8 miles southeast of Oxford. The church has a rich history, originally serving as a Norman abbey church. It was constructed on the grounds of a former Saxon cathedral, adding to its historical significance.
