Sussex Arms
Established in 1852 under the name Sussex Hotel, this establishment boasts a unique square-shaped bar with a quaint, elevated room tucked away at the back. The interior design is inspired by aviation, with some of the seating sourced from an authentic Concorde supersonic jet, adding a touch of historical charm to the ambiance. The establishment is family-friendly, welcoming children until 9:30pm. The menu offers a delightful blend of traditional British and contemporary European cuisine, served throughout the day to cater to all mealtime preferences. For music lovers, a digital jukebox is available, adding to the lively and enjoyable atmosphere. However, as of March 2022, it's important to note that cask ale is no longer served, following the removal of all handpumps. Despite this change, the establishment continues to offer a diverse selection of keg beers, ensuring that beer enthusiasts still have a variety of options to choose from.
