Situated in the grand former premises of the Gloucestershire Echo, you'll find a bustling, open-plan wine bar adorned with contemporary wood panelling. This lively venue is further enhanced by a multitude of photographs and artwork that add to its unique charm. Since its refurbishment in July 2017, the bar has expanded its beer selection, offering a variety that is not only diverse but also likely the most affordable in town, with the exception of JDW. In addition to the beer, the bar also boasts four handpumps and a selection of five ciders, catering to a wide range of tastes. As of June 2021, all ales are priced at a reasonable £3.10. This venue, with its modern yet welcoming ambiance, offers a great place to unwind and enjoy a drink in a setting steeped in local history.
