In May 2016, The White Horse transitioned into private ownership and underwent a significant refurbishment. This renovation included an upgrade to the cellar, enhancing its capacity to store a wider variety of beverages. As a result, the establishment now boasts an impressive selection of 7 keg beers, alongside a range of ciders and lagers, catering to diverse tastes of its patrons. However, it is important to note that as of March 2017, the venue no longer offers real ale, which may disappoint some ale enthusiasts.
