It is with regret that we report the unfortunate transformation of a once cherished establishment. This venue, previously a charming Victorian-style pub, complete with two cozy bars and a cottage-like ambiance, has sadly lost its original appeal. The pub, which was once a reliable source of comfort and nostalgia, has undergone a drastic makeover. The once quaint and inviting space has been replaced with an overly illuminated, visually unappealing lounge. The new design is dominated by televisions, creating an atmosphere more reminiscent of a television set than a traditional pub. In fact, the current setting could easily be mistaken for a scene straight out of the popular TV show, 'Neighbours'. This drastic change has not only altered the physical appearance of the pub but has also significantly impacted its original charm and character. The transformation is indeed a sad demise of a once reliable and beloved source of comfort and camaraderie.
