The Prince Albert
In 2012, the pub underwent a transformation to serve real ale. Although the pub's layout was significantly opened up years ago, which may have led to a loss of some of its original charm, it has managed to retain a sense of warmth and character. This is largely due to the pictures of historic Stockport and Stockport County FC adorning the walls. The bar is conveniently located at the back, leaving ample space at the front for patrons. For a period, the pub was under the same license as the nearby Bobby Peel, also known as Sir Robert Peel.
