The Cotton Bale
Amber Taverns acquired and reopened a spacious pub on 12th June 2018, following the departure of Wetherspoons in mid-2017. The pub is located in the pedestrian-friendly Market Place and features a large open-plan layout. It also boasts a beer garden at the rear, providing an outdoor space for patrons to enjoy. The pub has positioned itself as a prime location for live sports viewing, with multiple televisions installed throughout the premises. This allows for simultaneous screening of various events in different areas of the pub, catering to diverse sports preferences of the customers. However, please note that dogs are only permitted in the outdoor areas of the pub, and the establishment does not allow children. The pub is conveniently located near Hyde Bus Station and Hyde Central Train Station, making it easily accessible for patrons. As of now, the pub does not offer cask ale for sale. Despite this, it continues to provide a welcoming atmosphere for those looking to enjoy a drink, catch a game, or simply relax in a comfortable setting.
