The Black Swan
The pub, locally referred to as "The Dirty Duck" or simply "the Duck", was purchased by Wickwar Brewery in February 2018. The establishment now serves contract-brewed Wickwar brands. The pub is divided into three separate bar areas and features a spacious beer garden facing west. It is a family and dog-friendly venue, with children permitted until 8pm. The pub also offers entertainment through BT and Sky Sports, which are displayed on screens throughout the venue, including a larger screen in the back bar. This rear bar also provides comfortable sofas and direct access to the garden at the back. Additionally, the pub is known for hosting ukulele jamming sessions every Monday evening.
