Walkabout
The pub, previously known as Lloyds No. 1 Bar, was reopened under the new name Walkabout on March 17, 2018. This followed its acquisition by the Stonegate Pub Company from Wetherspoon, and subsequent debranding, which took place on September 8, 2017. The original establishment, Lloyds No. 1 Bar, had been serving patrons since its opening in July 2010. The pub features a spacious downstairs bar and a more intimate upstairs bar, complete with an internal balcony. However, as of December 2019, the pub ceased to offer real ale. The staff, however, have expressed optimism that it will be reintroduced in 2020. This establishment's transformation and its future plans reflect its commitment to adapt and cater to the evolving preferences of its patrons.
