In 2017, the local council approved a proposal to repurpose the ground floor of a late 60s estate pub into a pharmacy and a micropub. By the end of April 2018, the micropub was operational and began serving a variety of ales, ciders, and wines. The micropub features an L-shaped bar counter, behind which is a room dedicated to gravity dispense of real ales and a wide selection of ciders and perries. These beverages are stored in jacket-cooled casks to maintain their quality and taste. The micropub prides itself on sourcing its ales and ciders from local producers in Kent, emphasizing its commitment to supporting local businesses and offering patrons a taste of the region's finest brews.
