Rose of England
The establishment, previously a Tomson and Wotton pub, was originally named the Rose and Crown before undergoing a name change in 1957. Following the acquisition and subsequent closure of the Tomson and Wotton brewery in 1968, the pub transitioned into a Whitbread house. After a period of closure, it reopened its doors as a free house around 1984. Today, the pub features two bars and a dedicated games room. It is also home to a collection of memorabilia, including a variety of vintage arcade amusement machines.
