Cramptons
Established in 1865, the pub situated across the station has undergone a comprehensive renovation and refurbishment. The revamped establishment now features a central bar area and a spacious conservatory. The pub is named in honor of the renowned engineer, Thomas Crampton, who is credited with the construction of the nearby water tower and his significant contributions to the Great Western Railway. This naming serves to preserve and celebrate the pub's historical connection to the railway industry.
