Black Horse
The pub, currently situated at its present location, was relocated prior to 1870. The move was reportedly to eliminate any distractions for the nearby chapel attendees at its initial location on old Peppard Road. During the Victorian era, the pub's yard also functioned as the local fire station. Today, this well-maintained, traditional two-bar local pub offers a variety of amenities. The public bar features a pool table and sports television for entertainment, while the lounge bar on the left provides a more tranquil setting with a real fire. Patrons have the option to enjoy their drinks outside at the front of the pub or in the secluded rear patio. The pub is generally quiet, particularly in the lounge bar on the left as you enter.
