Old Tom
The establishment, previously known as a Morrells pub and first referenced in 1681 as Jacob's Well, is now under the management of a Thai landlord. The landlord is gradually transforming the pub into a dining-oriented venue. However, the front bar area still primarily caters to patrons who prefer to enjoy their drinks. The pub's name, "The Bell in Tom Tower," is inspired by the bell located in Tom Tower, which serves as the entrance to the Christ Church situated directly across the street. Interestingly, the bell is more frequently referred to as "Great Tom."
