Gardeners Arms
The establishment, originally opened as a Morrell's pub in 1872, features a long, narrow single room with a central bar and ample seating. After 30 years of dedicated service, long-standing tenants David and Jenny Rhymes bid farewell to the pub at the end of 2022. The pub is now under the management of the same company that operates the Grapes, which may suggest a similarity in the beer selection. The pub reopened its doors to patrons on October 4. Although the kitchen has been removed, guests can still enjoy a variety of bar snacks during their visit.
