The Anchor Inn

In 2015, the ownership of a roadside pub located on the main road from Chichester to Selsey, on the fringes of Sidlesham, changed. This change in ownership led to a name change from "The Anchor." However, the pub has since changed hands again, and the original name was reinstated. The pub, with its low beams and large fireplace, exudes the charm and warmth of a traditional village local. An additional feature of this establishment is an attached medieval barn, which has been repurposed into a restaurant, adding a unique historical touch to the dining experience. The pub also boasts a delightful decked garden at the back, which is bathed in sunlight, providing a pleasant and relaxing outdoor space for patrons.
