Contrary to some beliefs, the pub is situated next to a bowling green, not a cricket pitch, which was previously located some distance away. For those who enjoy a scenic walk, the pub is conveniently located near the Blackwater Valley Path (BWVP). A brief stroll westward under the A331 will lead you directly to the BWVP. Alternatively, if you're already exploring the BWVP, a short walk in the opposite direction will bring you to the welcoming doors of our pub.
