Britannia Inn
The establishment, which is now a pub, was originally two 18th-century cottages before it was transformed into a Westerham Ales ale house in 1853. The property has changed hands several times before it was acquired by Shepherd Neame. The new owners undertook a thoughtful refurbishment and expansion of the property, ensuring that it retained its traditional village pub ambiance. Located a quarter of a mile to the north is the medieval St Martins Church, which houses Saxon remains and the grave of Samuel Plimsoll.
