New Inns
This Edwardian pub, distinguished by its superb brown faience exterior, houses a variety of original and modern features. Upon entering through the vestibule, you are greeted by a simple yet charming bar area, complete with an original counter and intricately carved bar-back. To the left, a corridor is separated from the bar by a wooden and etched glass partition, adding a touch of elegance. The fittings in the rear lounge are contemporary, providing a contrast to the traditional elements of the pub. However, the original cornices and bench seating, complete with bell pushes, have been preserved, maintaining the pub's historical charm. Beyond this, there is a cozy area featuring additional vintage bench seating and a tiled fireplace, perfect for a more intimate gathering. This blend of old and new creates a unique atmosphere that is both welcoming and steeped in history.
