Harbour Lights

The Harbour Lights, situated in a picturesque location overlooking the Mouth of the Tyne and North Shields Fish Quay, offers a unique dining experience. The restaurant serves food daily, starting with breakfast from 9 am, although the bar begins operation at 11 am. The establishment has recently added a charming beer garden for patrons to enjoy. Additionally, they host a quiz every Sunday, adding to the lively atmosphere. Music lovers can also enjoy performances on Thursday and Saturday evenings. Please note that as of July 2023, the Harbour Lights is under new management and currently does not offer real ale. Conveniently, there is a daytime bus stop located directly outside the restaurant. For those using the metro, it's a short 15-minute walk to the South Shields Metro station.
