The Fox Inn

Following an extensive period of closure, The Fox pub proudly reopened its doors in August 2016 after undergoing a comprehensive refurbishment. This marked a significant milestone in the pub's history as it became a free house for the first time. The Fox now offers a selection of four real ales and two real ciders, all served from a hand pump. In terms of food, The Fox has a unique approach. On Fridays, patrons can enjoy either pizza or fish and chips, while traditional Sunday lunches are served at the end of each week. A full menu is available on all other days, ensuring a variety of options for every palate. The Fox is not just about food and drink, though. It also hosts regular quiz nights, adding a fun and engaging element to the pub experience. The efforts of The Fox have not gone unnoticed. In February 2017, it was awarded the Pub of the Month by the local CAMRA branch. This recognition was followed by an even more prestigious accolade in 2018 when it was named the branch's Pub of the Year.
