Prince Albert
Constructed in 1843, this pub is a charming three-storey structure made of traditional London brick, conveniently located on a corner. The interior design is unique, featuring a U-shaped layout with bare wooden floors. The walls are adorned with three-quarter height fielded panelling, which, although now painted a soft cream colour, still retains its original charm. The bar area is a focal point, boasting a mirrored back with a slim top section. The words 'Ales', 'Wines', 'Spirits', and 'Stout' are elegantly inscribed, reflecting the pub's extensive beverage offerings. Adding to the pub's character is a beautifully preserved 1930s Art Deco tiled fireplace situated at the rear right of the building. The fireplace, with its brown and cream ceramic interior, provides a warm and inviting atmosphere. This pub is not just a place to enjoy a drink, but also a piece of history, offering a unique blend of traditional and contemporary design elements.
