The Liver Hotel
The pub, renowned as Waterloo's most iconic, boasts a history spanning over two centuries. Previously serving as a coaching inn, it is recognized for its unique historical and architectural significance. Despite facing a demolition order years ago, the beloved establishment was saved thanks to the collective efforts of approximately 1,400 patrons who signed a petition to preserve it. Today, it continues to thrive, with its main dining area situated towards the rear, alongside a spacious beer garden. The garden's wall effectively minimizes the disturbance from nearby traffic, ensuring a pleasant experience for all visitors.
